Product Description

Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans) is a spore-forming probiotic bacterium with high tolerance to extreme environments and probiotic properties. Although B. coagulans produces lactic acid in the gut, it should be noted that B. coagulans does not belong to lactobacillus. Spores are important to distinguish B. coagulans from other lactic acid bacteria. Beneficial bacteria help digest food, produce vitamins, regulate metabolism and promote a normal immune response. And as a probiotic, B. coagulans can promote health and protect against infection, making it unique among probiotic supplements.

Health Benefits

  • Promote intestinal digestion. As a probiotic, B. coagulans can produce a variety of enzymes that promote excretion and digestion.
  • Regulate the intestinal microbiota. Due to its probiotic characteristics, B. coagulans promotes a healthy gut environment by secreting substances that help the growth of beneficial microorganisms and inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
  • Stimulate the immune system. B. coagulans is able to normalize the functional activity of immune cells, significantly benefiting the host immune system [1].

Health Benefits

Uses

B. coagulans is available as a dietary supplement, either as a standalone supplement or in combination with other probiotics. Dietary supplements containing B. coagulans appear to be useful in relieving constipation and symptoms of colitis, Crohn's disease, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
