Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans) is a spore-forming probiotic bacterium with high tolerance to extreme environments and probiotic properties. Although B. coagulans produces lactic acid in the gut, it should be noted that B. coagulans does not belong to lactobacillus. Spores are important to distinguish B. coagulans from other lactic acid bacteria. Beneficial bacteria help digest food, produce vitamins, regulate metabolism and promote a normal immune response. And as a probiotic, B. coagulans can promote health and protect against infection, making it unique among probiotic supplements.
