Product Description

Bifidobacteria bifidum (B. bifidum) are a group of bacterial species of the genus Bifidobacterium that can be found in mammals, including humans. B. bifidum is a rod-shaped, Gram-positive, anaerobic bacteria that is neither motile nor spore-forming. It produces lactic acid and acetic acid in the intestine. It is one of the most common probiotics, which help break down food and absorb nutrients. As well as improving the intestinal flora, B. bifidum can also aid digestion, neutralize harmful bacteria, activate the immune system, and prevent some cancers.
